There has been, for the past 3 or 4 years, something bubbling beneath the surface in the online community of educated racists. The Old Guard of White Identitarians, versus the “Human Capital Fetishists” or “HBD Rationalists” or whatever you want to call them. You know them when you see them. Hanania, Eyeslasho, Noahpinion, Cofnas… Up until now, the conflict between these two groups was something of a bicker. We had bigger fish to fry. But the floodgates have opened. After Trump announced Indian-born Sriram Krishnan will be his AI Advisor, a man who was born and raised in India, got his degree in India, and lives part of the year in the United Kingdom to this day. He was, in the past, known as something of an immigration shill. He is also 6’5, which is frankly shocking for a Tamil. People are making fun of his Frankenstein-esque appearance, but this man is clearly of a rare phenotype last observed in its pure form among the Mesolithic Zagrosians. The hunter-gatherers whose Dravidian descendants invaded India and formed the Indus Valley Civilization prior to the coming of the Aryans.

But anyways, this caused a huge backlash, and for good reason. He is only an American in a very loose sense, and he is now in charge of a technology which could be extremely important and extremely dangerous (not just unintentionally) in the future. However, for some reason Elon Musk and other members of the Tech-Right decided to respond to this backlash by extolling the greatness of the H1b visa system, call White Americans “dumb”, and defend ethnically Indian Xitter staff members celebrating the demographic decline of White people and being racist against Whites. The arguments that Musk and co. were making in favor of “H1bVeks” as they have come to be known, in my opinion, don’t hold up to scrutiny, but even if they were legitimate they demonstrate a deep underlying naïveté that the “Neoliberals” and “HBD Rationalists” and apparently also the Tech Magnates hold about identity politics. I will get to that later.

Claim #1: There is a shortage of high-skill engineers and computer scientists in America that we need H1bVeks to satisfy

I see no reason to believe this. As far as Software Engineering goes, demand for the field has plummeted since ‘22. Talk to anyone in the major right now and they’re all terrified by this.

Meanwhile, there are more CS degrees coming out of our colleges than ever.

CS degrees also obviously mean less than they have ever before due to ChatGPT, not necessarily because ChatGPT will replace CS so much as ChatGPT makes taking CS as a major much easier.

I see no reason to think that other types of engineering — real types of engnieering — are experiencing a shortage of workers. The oldest data I can find on this is from 2016, and there were almost twice as much Engineering bachelors granted as there were available jobs. Keep in mind, Engineering is an older field, so they also have to compete with more Oldhead engineers.

Oh yeah, and a side note — SWEs are not engineers. I’m tired of hearing this stupid term. They’re Computer Scientists, not Engineers. Computer Science is not THAT hard. It wasn’t that hard 5 years ago, it especially isn’t that hard today. I might even go as far as to say that Econ is harder than CS. Honestly, Engineers in general are extremely full of themselves. They’re smart people, yeah, but their major is not the hardest in college. Math and Physics are more technically challenging but have less tedium. But sometimes this tedium comes in handy for the Engineering majors, they get to know a lot of people. In my experience nobody outside of the Math department can get a read on Math majors at all, there’s no real stereotype for the major.

Claim #2: We need foreign talent to keep up with other countries, our grads are not skilled enough

Actually, there is a cornucopia of evidence to suggest that native-born Americans are much more skilled than foreign grads, and that the countries producing disproportionately the most eminent immigrants in America are not the countries H1Bs are going to in massive amounts.

1. Americans who get degrees from American colleges have higher aptitude for general workplace skills than immigrants, and especially immigrants who got their degree someplace else.

2. Whites and Asians living in the US who have been here for more than 2 generations score among the highest in the world on standardized testing. Whites score fifth, and Asians score first on PISA.

   

3. Elite students in foreign countries — or at least China, India, and Russia (the former two comprise a vast majority of H1B workers), have worse CS skills than American students in non-elite universities.

   

   CS skills by elite and nonelite institutions: China, India, Russia, and the United States. Within each country, the mean estimate for elite institutions is higher than the mean estimate for nonelite institutions (China, P = 0.063; India, P = 0.174; Russia, P = 0.084; United States, P = 0.000). The mean estimate for elite institutions in China, India, and Russia combined is lower than the mean estimate for elite (ACT/SAT equivalent >1,250; approximately the top quintile) institutions in the United States (P = 0.008).

4. Immigrant Nobel Prize Winners in America have been overwhelmingly of European origin, with Israel and Japan making up a majority of the Asian group. This is in spite of the fact that high-skill immigrants in the US are primarily Mexican or Indian in origin.

Okay, so… It turns out all available evidence suggests that people applicable for H1b, and getting H1bs, are usually less competent than native-born Americans and rarely contribute grand innovations to their fields. They are coming into an oversaturated field, performing worse, and probably being hyped up by Big Tech magnates because they don’t demand high pay. Also, because of ethnic nepotism, something Indians are known for in Big Tech.

Do these people innovate? What do they innovate? Everything sucks now. Gaming sucks. Social media sucks. AI is the mechanical wordcel. Crypto is a scam. Big Tech was full of talent 20 years ago and is now full of mediocrity. Thanks a lot StackOverflow and ChatGPT. Pope Head said it best:

Claim #3: Even if H1b workers aren’t that great, these ethnic groups are currently quite wealthy and productive in America so we should bring in more of them to create more productive wealthy Americans

The Case Against Indian Immigration

Indian immigrants are skilled historically because they are extremely selected for. Second-Generation Indian Immigrants have an IQ around 2 standard deviations above the mean average for the country of India, although they are about average in intelligence compared to White Americans. For comparison, Harvard students are probably not even 2 standard deviations above the mean for America.

We know that this isn’t sustainable because we have seen it happen in the UK and Canada. Indians in the UK used to be almost as smart as White Brits, now they are Sub-90. Brahmins and Kshatriya are higher IQ than other Indian groups but still lower IQ than pretty much all European countries.

The whole entire Anglosphere aside from America is pretty much in the shitter now partially because of this miscalculation. Partially because their governments are designed horribly. The more Indians you import, the less exceptional they will be, the more they will resemble the average Indian in India.

The same won’t happen with East Asians, but East Asians are still a problem in the big-picture as are Indians, for their politics.

Claim #4: High-Skill Immigrants are… Le based! Model Minority!

While Indians and East Asians do not commit crime at high rates, the mass importation of them will result in immigrants who do commit crime at high rates, along with many other bad policies.

Asian Americans are the least free-speech race in America. Subcontinental countries are the most cynical about Capitalism. Indian-Americans are the least conservative. Asian Americans support Affirmative Action in spite of it harming them. Asian Americans feel the least proud of all races to be American. Asian Americans overwhelmingly identify with minorities and do not view themselves as similar to Whites. Asian Americans are strongly in favor of gun control. Asian Americans view themselves much higher than other races and Whites as the lowest. Asian Americans feel the most positive about White demographic decline. Asians mostly do not like the U.S. Constitution.

There is no reason to think that this will change any time soon as younger and more assimilated East Asians feel more minoritized than their less assimilated older counterparts. Younger Asians are more college-educated and tend to be very urban and so it makes sense that they will become more Liberal.

The psychology of East Asians, and why the West won despite the slight IQ advantage of the East, is a long and arduous question for another day, but I have seen a lot of evidence that it is due to East Asians being more collectivistic on a genetic level. All of this seems to affirm that. They aren’t like us. Yes, they’re nice, they’re not criminals, I have met plenty of East Asians who are really fun to be around. But they don’t believe in the values which produced America. And this is where Neoliberals, Hannaniites, Neocons just get it all wrong. As long as immigrants support bad policies, and these bad policies cause even worse policies, it doesn’t matter how much they benefit the economy. Indians are going to overwhelmingly support regulation, wealth redistribution, and DEI, they don’t care if you gave them a job. Black people are going to always claim that it is the fault of White people that they are where they are, and because “where they are” is a product of genes, it will continue to exist despite all of the DEI we throw at it. And because we throw more and more at it, and it doesn’t change, it causes our scholars to conclude that it must have been just that much worse than we anticipated. East Asians, and especially Indians, view themselves as such and view White people as an obstacle to be overcome. They have the same sort of inferiority complex that Jews had a century ago which encouraged them to give nuclear secrets to the USSR and whatnot.

Elon doesn’t care. He doesn’t care about what happens in the future, he is an autist who has autistic hyperfixations.

Elon wants go to to space, but Indians do not want to. Libtards do not want to. They want favela world for now, and Dyson sphere ecstasy simulation until the sun explodes in the distant future. For the most part it is slightly autistic White people who want to go to space or build super robots or inject super soldier serum into ourselves. And even though I am one of these people, I must also acknowledge how far off a lot of this stuff is especially if current ethical standards in science continue to be enforced by national and international law. No amount of importation of Indians with bachelors in CS from University of New Dehli making AI toilet flushing apps is going to bring it closer to us.
