I find it convincing that in a world without the platonic ideal of Good represented in a Personal Creator, something like Nietzschean “inflict what you think is right on the world” is the only viable option.
Mainly because secular authors who have tried doing enough mental gymnastics to create secular morality have failed. Dawkins is a recent example of this, but his “attempt” was so impossibly awful I think most of his contemporaries basically disavowed him and The God Delusion
