the Jedi Order is heavily based off of Sufi Orders, im pretty sure george lucas spent some time with sufis for his research. The force in itself derives from Ibn Arabi’s belief in the unity of being. Also, the whole thing about the chosen one and the fact he’s from the desert sounds awfully similar to the mahdi.
But ultimately, star wars is to a large degree influenced by Dune which is obviously hugely islamic (especially sufi) in its themes
my first comment was before i had read the whole thang.. but WTF MANG why are you even slightly tolerating the bosmer!? they are malformed midget freaks that do not even have the dignity to at least live in mudhuts (the argonians are capable of this). they are disgusting cannibals that eat their babies if they are born deformed or stillbirthed. FREAKS! BARELY PEOPLE! they have penis eating rituals! do i need to spell it out even more. the only thing any bosmer ever did of any worth was invent the common dating system. THAT'S IT!
I didn't realize anyone had such strong feelings about the Bosmer. I was aware that they cannibalized their enemies. Didn't know they ate their own babies. They are no true elves
I remember Abeloth. She scared me in middle school. Also I agree that Filoni is kind of soy. Rebels was a coally show but Star Wars fans hype it up. I didn’t mind TCW but only watched it when I was very young
Ehh yeah I mean, I would be happy to do that but I don’t know how a collab post would work on substack
> The Father just thought that Anakin would take his place and maintain balance. But Anakin killed everyone and balance was maintained regardless. You can see how this obviously foreshadows his later life, when he kills all the Jedi but also all the Sith.
I was basing that idea off of stuff from Ashoka, which I have not watched and frankly don’t have any interest in watching. But people are saying Anakin became the father. IDK
> Also you are correct in that "balance" in Star Wars basically just means the Light Side ROFLstomps. There is a George Lucas quote where he explicitly says this, and I can find it if you want to make a dedicated post at some point. But yeah, you actually can't have a balance of Light and Dark in Star Wars, except maybe if you are Anakin but probably not.
What about the Grey Jedi? Didn’t Ashoka become a Grey Jedi? I never understood why they were a thing
Sectionalism be like "our oblivion, who fart in soyjak party"

My hands are shaking im so excited to read this
i get my political beliefs from YouTube rap battles, and my religious beliefs from morrowind books.

"Seems a bit short to me."
On the subject of the Dunmer, what do you think of the Tribunal?
I didn't really finish morrowind but I don't dislike them
